During a disciple's college years, Mountain Movers will offer paid internships for those who aspire toward developing a ministry vocation or who simply have a burden to equip themselves in expanded disciplines and cultivate a deeper relationship with those they are discipling. The plan for those who choose this path are as follows:
- Work with Mark and other adult leaders to evaluate and analyze existing strategies and processes that are in place for discipling.
- Spend time socially and spiritually with other disciple-makers.
- Intensify and expand spiritual disciplines: prayer, apologetics, and study methods.
- Take mission trips: local and international.
- Help other college disciples with their college campus and community plans to reach others for making disciples.
- Create and attend a 48-hour prayer and fasting summit.
- Speak at camps, churches, para-church groups, and business meetings, etc.
- Write articles or blogs on their internship experience.
- Research existing local organizations that work with international and network with them on Mission 365. Example: missionaries or individuals that help with orphanages local and abroad.
- Raise support for future mission trips and special needs about which these young disciples are impassioned .
- Take classes in a foreign language.
- Network with Christian businessmen in areas of your college major.
- Attend a Song of Solomon conference for pre-marital preparation.
- Take life-skill classes offered during internship in the areas of: cooking, general auto maintenance, finances and budgeting, and home repairs, etc.
This internship process is a work in progress and will be constantly evaluated for effectiveness and benefits.
